Peter Bell, CEO
Peter founded Cardean Bell in 2016 after a 24 year career with major global investment banks and is CEO. Peter has advised on over $100bn of completed transactions across all industry sectors and specialises in M&A and IPO advisory mandates.
Previously, he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Nomura International, Lehman Europe, Greenhill and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Peter is also co-founder and chair of the internationally renowned Chalke History Festival.
Oliver Levy, Managing Director
Oliver is a Managing Director of Cardean Bell having joined the firm in 2018. Oliver has advised on transactions in numerous industries and is currently focusing on telecoms and business services sector.
Previously, he worked at UBS for ten years – latterly in the sell-side and the financial sponsor M&A team. Oliver also worked in private equity with Arcapita for three years. Oliver is also managing partner of March Harvey.
Michael Shaw, Managing Director
Michael is a Managing Director of Cardean Bell having joined the firm in 2019. Michael has over 22 years of corporate finance, corporate broking and equity capital markets experience with significant technical and regulatory expertise. Previously he worked for Stifel Nicolaus Europe, Oriel Securities, Williams de Broë and HSBC. Michael also acts as a consultant to various growth companies.
Jo Royden-Turner, Director
Jo is a director of Cardean Bell having joined the firm in 2019. Previously, she worked at Ernst Young as an assistant director in the M&A team and at Smith & Williamson in the capital markets team. Jo is a qualified accountant and is also an independent panel member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She is also a foundation governor at Send Church of England Primary School.
Jonathan Vassallo, Director
Jonathan is a director having joined the firm in 2023. Previously Jonathan worked in the manufacturing industry in Malta for 13 years in a variety of accounting and financial roles. Jonathan is also Managing Director of Dixcart Malta.
Clive Azzopardi, Director
Clive is a director having joined the firm in 2020. A qualified accountant, Clive has nine years experience in the financial services industry in Malta. Clive is also a director of Dixcart Malta.
Rebecca Debono, Associate
Rebecca is an Associate at Cardean Bell having joined the firm in 2021.
After qualifying as a Certified Public Accountant, Rebecca worked at PwC in Malta as a manager within the consulting and deals team, which formed part of the firm’s Advisory unit.
Subsequently, she worked at FIMBank PLC as a Financial Analyst within the bank’s real estate team.
